  Switch it on in Settings: after your password, the 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. No phone number needed, and ten backup codes in case you lose it.

  A photo you send loses its hidden data (the place it was taken, the phone that took it) before anyone else can download it. The picture itself is not touched.
