Start a voice room without an account
One click makes the room and its link. Nobody signs up.
No account. 45 minutes, up to 5 people, voice only. Or create your space and keep it.
Start it
- Press Start a room, here or on the home page.
- Pick a name and press Step in. Your browser asks to use the microphone: allow it.
- Press Copy link and send it. The link is the way in: whoever opens it can join while the room is open.
What your friends do
They open the link, type a name and press Join the room. No account, nothing to install. The page shows how much time the room has left.
You are the host
The browser that started the room holds the host’s powers:
- Remove a person. They cannot come back into that room.
- End room for everyone.
The host’s powers live in that browser. If you open the link somewhere else, you join as a guest.
When it ends
A room ends after 45 minutes, when the host ends it, or when everyone has left. Nothing is recorded. One line about the room is kept for 7 days in case of abuse, then deleted.
If the button says no
- “Every room is taken right now”: there are only a few rooms at a time. Try again in a few minutes.
- “You’ve started a few rooms already”: a few rooms an hour from one connection is the limit.
- “Sign in to start a room” or “paused”: we sometimes close the door to strangers when rooms are being misused. A space of your own always works.
